  WHO ARE THEY?!!

Alooha! this is my fourth post about Cinderella, before you watch the movie, I think you should know the main characters, and who are they?

Cinderella

Cinderella  is a beautiful young woman. She is tall, slender and softly shaped with a mild face. Her skin is fair, with pink lips and twinkling blue eyes. Cinderella's hair is strawberry blonde in color, and shoulder-length, with soft bangs, although in the sequels it appears her hair has become blonder.  Cinderella is the main fictional character and protagonist from Disney's 1950 twelfth animated film feature film with the same name and its two sequels.Cinderella is made a servant in her own home and is constantly derided by her evil stepmother Lady Tremaine and two stepsisters. Although she is shy and romantic, she maintains hope through her dreams and always waits for her prince to come. She is hopeful to the idea that someday her wishes of happiness will come true.

Cinderella's Step Mother

Lady Tremaine  (Cinderella's stepmother)also known as as the wicked stepmother is the main antagonist of Cinderella and its two sequels. The arch-enemy of Cinderella, Lady Tremaine doesn't harm her stepdaughter physically, but seeks to destroy her psychologically, motivated by jealousy of Cinderella's beauty, as it serves to accentuate the greediness and awkwardness of the stepmother's own daughters, Anastasia and Drizella. Lady Tremaine is also a socialite, determined to gain higher status by marrying one of her daughters to Prince Charming or some bachelor of noble state.

 Cinderella's Stepsisters

Cinderella's Stepsisters  Drizella Tremaine   is the brunette haired. Cinderella's bossy older stepsister, Anastasia's older sister, and the oldest daughter to Lady Tremaine.shown to be very selfish, spoiled, and greedy like her mother , her interest is getting a man with lots of money to marry her so that she can be a socialite like her mother. To this end, she follows Lady Tremaine's advice in order to  impress and avoid failing her. Drizella is the uglier of the two step-sisters, for, unlike  Anastasia, she has not mended her ways.                                                                 Anastasia Tremaine in the initial movie, Anastasia was portrayed as being just as selfish and spoiled as her sister, Drizella. She spends most of her time harassing and humiliating Cinderella, and making her life horrible. It is shown that she doesn't always get along with Drizella, and that the two are prone to arguments. Anastasia is shown to play the flute, though not necessarily well. However, her character is fleshed out considerably in Cinderella II: Dreams Come True and Cinderella III: A Twist in Time

Jaq and Gus

Jaq and Gus are a pair of mice who appeared in Cinderella and its two sequels.Jaq is the leader of Cinderella's mice and proves to be a good one at that. Jaq was shown to be the first of the mice to actually confront Lucifer and the only to take him on alone. Like the other mice, Jaq is caring for Cinderella and thinks of her as a mother or big sister. He holds a brotherly bond with Gus, who he is seen with on a regular basis.
Gus is Jaq's best friend and rather dimwitted compared to his buddy. Other than his friends and family, his number one priority is making sure his belly is always treated right. Despite his small size, he has a tough mind and a running gag shows him putting up his fists if Cinderella is ever threatened only to be stopped by Jaq. He is the main target of Lucifer, who prefers Gus out of all the mice because of his plump size.

The Fairy Godmother

The Fairy Godmother
Is Cinderella's fairy godmother who helped her get to the ball in Disney's 1950 film Cinderella and its sequels.

Fairy Godmother first appears in the film after the stepsisters tear Cinderella's gown to shreds before Prince Charming's ball. She appears in the garden, and transforms her appearance for the ball. She transforms the mice into horses, Bruno the dog into a footman, Major the horse into a coachman, a pumpkin into the carriage, and transforms her torn dress into a beautiful blue dress with glass slippers. Cinderella departs for the ball after the Fairy Godmother warns her that the spell will expire at the stroke of midnight. Cinderella II: Dreams Come True In the second installment of the Cinderella series, Cinderella ll: Dreams Come True, the Fairy Godmother is shown at the very beginning telling the story of Cinderella to the mice. She later help the mice create stories of their own. In the middle of the movie, she turns Jaq into a human so he can help Cinderella become princess material. She appears once more in the end where she helps the mice show Cinderella the story book they've created. Cinderella III: A Twist in Time In the third film of the Cinderella series, Fairy Godmother is shown at the beginning of the film celebrating Cinderella and Prince Charming's first anniversary. In the movie, her wand is stolen by Anastasia and is used by Lady Tremaine to gain revenge on Cinderella. When trying to get her wand back, the Fairy Godmother was accidentally turned into a statue by Anastasia. She is reverted back by Cinderella and the newly reformed Anastasia at the end of the film.

Prince Charming

In the first film, Prince Charming is returning to his home kingdom after a long absence. Meanwhile, his father, the King, is frustrated with his son as he has yet to find a wife. The King misses the sounds of children running around the castle. He then gets the idea to throw a welcome ball. The King orders the Grand Duke to invite every eligible maiden in the kingdom, hoping that his son will fall in love with one. The ball takes place that very night, and Charming is unimpressed by both the woman, and his father's attempts to match him up. Eventually, Charming spots a young maiden (Cinderella) with whom he begins to waltz with. He and the maiden then begin a date, but at midnight, she runs off, leaving behind one of her glass slippers. Charming decides to marry the girl that fits the slipper, and the Grand Duke delivers the news to the King. The King is excited with the idea of his son being in love, and orders the Duke to go on a non-stop search. After hours, the Duke finally finds the girl, Cinderella, and quickly takes her to the castle where she and Charming are married.

Synopsis
Cinderella was Walt Disney's return to feature-length "story" cartoons after eight years of turning out episodic pastiches like Make Mine Music and Three Caballeros. A few understandable liberties are taken with the original Charles Perrault fairy tale (the wicked stepsisters, for example, do not have their eyes pecked out by crows!) Otherwise, the story remains the same: Cinderella, treated as a slavey by her selfish stepfamily, dreams of going to the Prince's ball. She gets her wish courtesy of her Fairy Godmother, who does the pumpkin-into-coach bit, then delivers the requisite "be home by midnight" warning. Thoroughly enchanting the prince at the ball, our heroine hightails it at midnight, leaving a glass slipper behind. The Disney people do a terrific job building up suspense before the inevitable final romantic clinch. Not as momentous an animated achievement as, say, Snow White or Fantasia, Cinderella is a nonetheless delightful feature, enhanced immeasurably by the introduction of several "funny animal" characters (a Disney tradition that has held fast into the 1990s, as witness Pocahontas), and a host of a sprightly songs, including "Cinderelly," "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes," and -- best of all -- "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo
